Informed Consent & Disclaimer

Starting a spiritual psychotherapy process is a very personal and brave decision, and I honored to be a part of this journey with you. Prior to starting our sessions, you would need to be aware of important information about my professional practice and business policies. Please read this document in its entirety and do not hesitate to ask any questions. We will discuss all your questions and concerns in our initial session.

My Philosophy

My approach is selected according to your specific needs, personality, worldview, and in most cases involves a combination of various techniques that show proven results.

I believe in a holistic approach to healing and use body-mind connection techniques, including meditation and yoga when needed. My work also relies on astrological insights derived from Western and Vedic approaches.

My Education includes:

  • Master of Counseling, Houston Christian University;

  • Master of Business Administration, University of Houston;

  • BA in Education, Moscow State University

Please remember that psychotherapy has its benefits and risks. The unpleasant feelings such as anger, grief, and frustration can still arise during our sessions, but the possible benefits include solutions to specific individual and relationship problems, and reduction in the distress in many areas of your life.

Please remember, there are no guarantees in the outcomes, but I can promise to do my best to professionally guide in your journey and assist you with acquiring the skills to become your own agent of change. Our work will be a partnership that will include active participation and commitment on your part.

Please remember, that the ultimate decision of how to approach the journey to achieving the life of your dreams is yours, and you’ll be the captain of our team!

You may directly contact me at (713) 898-3807 or by email.  My policy is not to answer the phone while working with a client. You can leave me a confidential message that will be answered within 24 hours, except on weekends and holidays.

Confidentiality

Knowing that your information is private and confidential is very important in all cases and takes the highest importance in the psychotherapy relationship. Confidentiality includes not just the contents of the sessions, but often the fact that a client is engaging in therapy. It is common that I, for example, will not acknowledge you if we run into each other outside of therapy to protect your confidentiality. Other ways confidentiality is protected include:

  • Not leaving revealing information on voicemail, and seeking your permission before leaving any information at all on voicemail.

  • Not acknowledging to outside parties that you have an appointment with me.

  • Not discussing the contents of therapy with a third party without your explicit permission.

Social Media & Telecommunication
